The PivotGrips are a versatile clamping solution for securely holding round and irregular shaped workpieces. The curved, blade like grippers bite into the workpiece, offering superior stability during rough machining compared to traditional smooth jaws. The low-profile design allows for clamping on as little as 1.5mm of stock, minimising the amount of material removal needed in secondary operations and improving overall cycle times.

PivotGrips are made from premium A2 tool steel and hardened to 55HRC. The PivotGrips can clamp on plastic, aluminium, brass, titanium and steel up to 35HRC in hardness. Individual grippers can also be mounted in custom fixtures and jigs, enabling higher-density workholding of round parts. Hammering or reseating the material after clamping should be avoided as this may damage the grippers teeth.
