Datum Workholding was founded on a simple idea: precision-engineered tooling should come with clear, upfront pricing — the same fair price for everyone, whether you're running a one-person hobbyist shop on a desktop CNC or a full production floor. No trade tiers, no "call for pricing." Just precision workholding solutions at a price you can trust from the first click.

What We Make
We design and manufacture CNC vice jaws, serrated grippers, work stops, zero point systems, dovetail fixtures, and fixturing components — with the majority of our range made in-house, here in the UK. Wherever possible, we source our raw materials from UK suppliers too, keeping quality control and lead times tightly within our reach. Where we do bring in components from outside vendors, we hold them to the same tolerances and standards we apply to our own work. Every product is designed to work reliably across the widest possible range of vices and machines, so what you buy fits what you already have.

Who We Are
We're a small, hands-on team — the kind of shop where the person who designed your work stop is also the person who'll answer your email if something's not right. That's deliberate. Being small means every product that leaves our workshop has been checked by someone who understands exactly what it needs to do on your machine.

We also use our own products to make our products. Our workholding solutions hold the parts on our own CNC machines every day, so if a design flexes, marks a finish, or falls short in the real world, we're the first to know — long before it ever reaches you.
