The ID expansion pins can provide accurate and repeatable internal clamping for milling and general CNC fixturing applications. Designed to locate and secure parts using existing machined holes, it leaves the exterior of the component fully accessible for machining.
Fast changeovers can be achieved with just a few turns of a screw for quick clamping and unclamping, helping minimise downtime between cycles. The ID Expansion Clamps are manufactured from hardened steel for optimal durability and service life.
The lower diameter is sized for a press-fit or close sliding fit into the fixture, the upper section features a small expansion range of 0.1–0.2 mm ensuring precise location while minimising distortion of the workpiece.
