The SerraGrip Vice Jaw Set bolts directly into a standard 6" machine vice and features hardened steel serrated grippers that bite into the workpiece, offering superior workholding stability during aggressive rough machining compared to traditional smooth jaws.
The low-profile design allows for clamping on as little as 2mm of stock, minimising material removal needed in secondary operations while improving overall cycle times.
SerraGrips are made from premium A2 tool steel and hardened to 55HRC, the serrated grippers can clamp on plastic, aluminium, brass, titanium and steel up to 35HRC. The mild steel jaw carrier is compatible with standard 6"/150mm Kurt Style vices with mounting holes that accept both M12 and 1/2”-13 cap head screws (not included).
Hammering or reseating the material after clamping should be avoided as this may damage the grippers teeth.
