The Low Profile Vice is a versatile workholding device, designed specifically for compact desktop CNC machines. Its compact profile maximises usable Z-axis travel while providing a solid foundation for machining.
Pre-hardened steel serrated jaws bite onto just 3mm of material, providing secure clamping during machining while minimising material wastage. Additional, customisable soft jaws enable irregular shaped parts to be firmly held during secondary machining operations.
The Low Profile Vice can be mounted on waste boards/machine tables with a hole pitch of 75mm(3in) to 100mm(4in) and supports both M6 and 1/4-20" fixings.
This product ships to over 50 countries, see Shipping Page for more info.
Low Profile Vice
Our Low Profile Vice is precision machined from lightweight aluminium and features hardened steel grippers for a stronger and more stable clamping. Compatible with wasteboard mounting grids ranging from 75mm (3in) up to 100mm (4in) our Low Profile Vice is suitable for a variety of desktop CNC machines. The expandable construction of the vice ensures its compatible with future upgrades and is perfect for user customisation.

Gripper Jaws
The 75mm (3in) wide, pre-hardened steel gripper jaws allow for aggressive machining while only holding onto 3mm (1/8in) of material. The serrated teeth bite into the workpiece creating high gripping force, suitable for all hardwoods, plastics and non-ferrous metals.

Smooth Jaws
Gripper Jaws can be reversed to reveal a smooth jaw face with an integrated 3mm step, ideal for clamping parts with minimal marking.

Soft Jaw Compatible
Utilise industry-standard techniques for 2nd Op machining by creating your own custom soft jaws. Either mill or 3D print the soft jaws to perfectly match the geometry of your part.

Large Capacity
The compact size and large clamping capacity of our Low Profile Vice makes it a versatile and valuable workholding choice for almost all desktop CNC machines.
